Do you regularly need to charge larger electrical appliances or do you have camping equipment that needs electricity? With the KIA EV9 you always have enough juice. This is because the Korean is one of the few cars in Switzerland that can charge bidirectionally. This means that you can use the vehicle-to-load function (V2L) to charge electrical appliances with up to 3.68 kW via the car and use the energy stored in the battery for your home (V2H).

The electric SUV can't take off, but the raw power of 670 hp ensures outstanding acceleration and a lot of driving pleasure. However, the range of 354 km is rather low when compared to other electric 7-seaters. However, the high-roof station wagon from France only costs from just over 44,000 francs – a very competitive price for an electric car of this size.

Inside, the e-Rifter shows its versatility. The seats can be flexibly folded down or removed, depending on whether more passengers or luggage are to be transported. Otherwise, the EQB convinces with the high-quality workmanship and design typical of Mercedes. Numerous assistance systems and the multimedia system ensure safety and a good mood even on longer journeys. Thanks to the large battery, you never have to worry about the range on these - one charge is enough for more than 500 km.

Opel Zafira e-Life

Plenty of space for not too much money – that's what Opel promises with the Zafira e-Life. The variant with the 50 kWh battery costs just over 50,000 francs. This puts the minibus far ahead in a price comparison with other large electric cars. The disadvantage: the small battery, in combination with the relatively high consumption of the Zafira e-Life, ensures a range of only 220 kilometers per battery charge. On longer journeys, you'll have to get used to frequent charging stops. Opel offers a version with a 75 kWh battery, but you'll have to pay around 10,000 francs more for it.

In terms of space, however, the minibus does not have to fear any competition. It has up to 9 seats and thanks to the trunk volume of up to 4,000 l, you can easily transport a lot of luggage or material. With the Zafira e-Life, you are prepared for everything from the holidays to the move.

The sliding doors on both sides make it easy to load and unload luggage and materials into the boot, which has a volume of 1,355 litres.

You won't find any high-tech systems in this car – the Toyota is rather soberly equipped. The focus is clearly on suitability for everyday use and practical solutions – which is certainly not a disadvantage, especially for families with small children. This means robust and easy-care materials in the interior as well as many storage options and compartments for everything a family needs while driving.
